Monkey is a type of mammal, intelligent and clever animal. Monkeys are mainly found in two places in the world.
FACT NO 1: They can jump from one tree to another like a horse at high speed.
FACT NO 2: New World monkeys can hang from tree branches by their tails.
FACT NO 3: The smallest monkey in the world is the pygmy marmoset, which is 6 inches long and weighs about a pack of cards.
FACT NO 4: Monkeys are also kept as pets, but this is illegal in most countries.
FACT NO 5: Mandrills are the largest monkeys in the world. They live in rainforests. Female Mandrills weigh 10 to 13 kg and males 20 to 25 kg.
FACT NO 6: Howler monkeys are the loudest of all species. Monkeys can count and understand numbers.
