What is the Weight of an Indian elephant?

The Indian Elephant scientific name is Elephas Maximus Indicus.

The Indian Elephant is the extant subspecies of the Asian Elephant.

If we talk about Indian elephant weight, The Indian Elephant weighs between 2,000 kg and 5,000 kg (4,400 and 11,000 lb).

Although Indian Elephants are smaller than African elephants. 

Indian Elephants live in mainland Asia: India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Thailand, Myanmar, China, Laos, Vietnam etc.

Since 1986, The Asian Elephant has been considered as Endangered Species according to the IUCN Red List.
